The New year has arrived

It is here, 2009. In 4 days I will be celebrating my 24th wedding anniversary. Thinking back to both of my weddings. We eloped first, than had a HUGE wedding.
I had my oldest Godchildren and my youngest as my flower girl and ring bearers. I keep thinking about redoing our vows on our 25th.

I am again dealing with some health issues, that I have yet to mention to anyone. I didn't want to deliver any sort of news to family and friends around Christmas. I only have let a few Prayer Warriors know specifics so they can join me and hubby in praying.

I sprained my hip I am assuming, and have been in pain on the left side. I had Rob check my incision and he said it looks like some of my insides are wanting to come out. GROSS! So I will make an appt with the Dr. for next Monday. I am sure the office is closed.

We rang in the New Year singing some Praise & Worship Songs, blowing the Shofar, anointing our heads and praying and taking communion. We did this about 9pm, cause by 10:20 I was out. I asked each of us to think of one resolution that we can make and keep to the Lord for the new year.
Mine was I promise to do more random acts of kindness. These I can do regardless how alert or healthy I am... :o)

Anyway I have to get ready for work. Happy New Years!
We are serving Blacked eyed Peas and hog jowel at work, and at home purple hull peas and a pork roast at home. :o) Gotta love the south! hehe
